One person going by the handle of "The InSneider" (not a typo) has created a small buzz by claiming, without proof or details, that Hasbro and Amazon/MGM will be making a live action My Little Pony movie sometime in the near future. Jeff Sneider works for or feeds stories to Variety which published his claim and from there it has been picked up already by Pakistan's The Express Tribune, here.

Now I would certainly watch a live action movie featuring talking fantasy horses. I watched all of Gen 5, even if every pony there totally abandoned their prime motivations and responsibilities. At least it wasn't as bad as Wild Manes or Filly Fantasia. If the movie turns out to be a live action Equestria Girls movie, eh, I'd probably give it a pass. But real horses casting spells, kicking trees and flying about, that has potential. Just so long as they don't sit like cats and carry stuff with their hooves.
